Got my Swick....

#1

Post by Marion David Poff »

I publicly said that I wanted one of the new Swicks, back when they were an idea.

But then, after they got made, I could not buy one, what with no job and spending my time learning to make knives.

So, I felt pretty bad, like I had given my word, but had not followed through.

But, my brother ended up wanting a Mule, after he played with mine....

So, I will be wrapping the handle for him, and building a Concealex/Boltaron sheath for it.

In trade, I got my Swick.

Nice. Very nice.

I have said it before, I love the fixed blades that Spyderco makes.

What did you wrap that handle with on those mules? Is that paracord covered in tape?

Congrats on your new Swick. Will you be working on handles for them?

Yeah. Bat tape, for like baseball bats... Not Hockey Tape, too sticky on the outside.

Though my brother wants his Strider Wrap'd so I will be doing one of those for him, I will of course post images.

Maybe, there are definitely some technical difficulties to overcome, though...

What sort of handles would you be interested in?
