according to Spyderco's website, the Crucarta Manix 2 weighs the same as the S30v Manix 2, so I'm assuming the liners aren't skeletonized. does anyone have one yet?

The wording in the catalog made it sound like all of the models in this series were to be fully skelotonized. I think they made a mistake on the specs. Just my guess. I too would like to know for sure as soon as someone gets one in hand.

Looks like they're not skeletonized.

Crucarta has full liners. Here next to 15v sprint. Sprint has trimmed out liners.

Thank you @Bolster for the update, and thanks also to @Mrj for the additional pictures and weights! :clapping-hands

In my mind, I was giving this a 75% chance of happening. Spyderco has mentioned numerous times, about the additional 'flex' they see in their knife testing, when using Micarta, vs say G-10. While I of course agree with this fact. In this case, it's on a 3.375" bladed knife, with a very wide frame, and it has a very forgiving ball bearing lock (Still operates fine with minor flexing).

If I 'were' to have this knife made for me, I'd opt for the skeletonized liners. Bringing it in at just under 4 ounces. :bug-red-white

Got the email from DLT at 12:34pm EST that they were back in stock. Picked one up at around 1pm and out of curiosity went back to check about 10 minutes later and they were already sold out again. Not sure how many they had but those seem to go quick!
