MLB 2024!

Post by legOFwhat? »

Regular season starts off tomorrow in Korea! :usflag Dodgers and Padres on display. 6am breakfast baseball 😁

My Dodgers saved up cans and took on a paper route for some extra cash to spend this season. πŸ‘€ little over a billion 😱

Better make it out of the 1st round :smirk

2023 NL Cy Young winner Blake Snell signed with the San Francisco Giants (two-year contract worth $62 million + an opt out at end of season).

Giants should have a little life this year, with a big improvement in talent at several positions. Main thing is to be fun to watch.

I don’t look for a super year for the Cards . Picked up more bargain bin pitching , and bullpen is in shambles . Cards gave Olive a contract extension which is insane after last year debacle . Operation mamnager Mo needed a yes man scapegoat as far as I am concerned . I look for another 90 loss season . Dan

My Orioles are finally showing some real promise. Being a Os fan for almost 40 years has been rough lol.

Loved the O's back in the 80's! They have an incredible team right now, so being an Orioles fan has to be fun. Very young and talented.

Gunnar Henderson and Holliday have a real chance at being one of the great duos in the infield. Bats are strong. Just need pitching to hold up.

Well fellas, I've made a decision.
I'm going to start rooting for Atlanta again.
I just have to let the Freddy Freeman fiasco go....
It's just to hard trying to watch Dodger games in Braves Country anyways.
Oh well, here's to the new season fellas! πŸ₯³

To think the Braves got better than last year is scary considering how good they were!

Well Larry,
The baseball 🌎 has been shot in the arse with these ridiculous Negro League stats!!
Not to mention the Braves lost both Strider & Acuna ....
But, no one will ever get me to believe that Josh Gibson had those kind of stats....especially when his great nephew was on the freakin committee to get the stats put on MLB!!
It's a JOKE!
I'll also never understand how MLB could be that weak to let a farce like this even happen!
To say Josh Gibson was a better hitter than Ted Williams? Really?????
They may have played 60 real games a season.....
That's just the first thing that's all wrong about making those stats MLB official stats
Mad Dog Chris Russo had interviewed one of the committee members, a black guy named Larry Lester - it was a joke! That Lester guy could not answer any of Mad Dogs questions - he was just a total ***! This whole thing just makes ya wanna vomit!
They're saying that Josh Gibson batted .466 - but, that's like 185 times at bat for the season
Ted Williams batted .406 but, that was freakin over 500 plate appearances!
Mad Dog asked Lester if he didn't think that it was much harder to bat over .400 in over 500 plate appearances than 185 plate appearances
Lester said no. He really said no.
At that point Mad Dog is actually speechless-
I'm about livid at that point.....
I dunno fellas..... just too much bs with sports now a days.
So, when your kids look at the all time MLB leaders it will be Josh Gibson sitting at the top above Ty Cobb, above Ted Williams & above Babe Ruth and Henry Aaron!
Think I'm gonna go throw up again....this is just sickening.- I really wish yall could have heard that interview Mad Dog did. They're just shovin this crap down our throats whether we like or not and they know it's bs ...
