Can't be... Tim has only started the one thread. As opposed to a few dozen. :')

:rofl Not hardly. I'm a newbie to Spyderco and had been asking in my Next Spyderco? thread about what I should try. That just happened to coincide with a post by mikey177 in the deals thread that I couldn't resist. So, I blame/thank Mikey for those additions.

Today is a good day 😃Luckily I was able to purchase this from a fellow collector. Besides a small grind mark on the blade it has been hardly used. My first Millie! S90v blade and CF scales. Just got it in the mail and used it to cut up some carboard, what a knife :bug-red-white

nice score. those have such a nice size to weight ratio, better than the standard millie.

I'm guessing that is an acronym to help you remember all of the knives you ordered. :winking-tongue

Not in the mail anymore - the fine ceramic bench stone arrived today. I've been meaning to get a fine hard bench stone for setting the apex, instead of using the ceramic side of Fallkniven DC4. Since the ceramic bench stones are getting discontinued, I've decided to get one - and a Canadian Spyderco vendor had them on sale, so the timing was perfect.

I also got a standard PM2 in S45VN for my dad as a birthday gift. Man, what a knife! I'm keeping that one in the box until I see my dad in a few weeks, so I don't get any ideas...

Great buy for your dad! My first Spyderco folding knife was the PM2 in S45VN and it’s been a consistent part of my EDC rotation. Every time I try to set it aside I somehow end up picking it up and it finds its way back into my pocket. Got a PM2 in CRUWEAR but it keeps getting bumped by the S45VN on rainy days.

After seeing the PM2 in person, I suspect that I’ll end up getting something from the Military line sooner or later. But if the PM2 is good, a full-size M2 might be even better - especially since I’d be getting it for outdoor use, where the large size won’t be an issue.

The C258GPGYCW AKA this guy here:
Image

The latest reveal reminded me I still didn't experience Cruwear, so I looked at what's available and with the help of the folks here arrived at the best fit for me. A local brick and mortar shop offered it 120 EUR cheaper than what it is on knivesandtools, that way I can check it out in person before committing. At that point the whole thing turned into an impulse buy.. :-)

Haven’t bought a new Spyderco for about a decade or more. The only ones I have left from my knife collecting days are a S110V Para2 and a vintage Cricket PE. But the bug came back around and I did one old and one new.

Old: Stretch sprint run in burnt orange with HAP40. Always wanted a Stretch back in the day. Glad to have one in a great color and really interesting steel!

New: Lil Native in green G10 and CPM 20CV the knifejoy exclusive. Love the design of this one. When the blade profile integrates perfectly into the handle chef kiss. Smaller size should make for nice carry too should I get back into that.

Hurry up mailman!!!

Nice! I actually have been carrying the Lil Native the most out of all of Spydies lately. Something about it is so neat — I think it’s the fact that it punches above its weight class.

Three more inbound:
Stretch 2 XL Nishijin :drooling - This completes my initial Spyderco wishlist.
Shaman - Want to try that fat handle and generally like the compression lock
Para 3 - Don't have a Para 3 or the S110V yet. Curious how the hand fit will be compared with my PM2.

With this batch, I will now have more Spyderco than Buck; never expected that to happen.

I got a bit nuts, even if the Reveal 14 dropped... I had an opportunity to acquire part of a collection that definitely NEEDS to live on since it belongs to a great man, really connected to Spyderco and the knife world.
So.... I sold many things and used all I had available to rehome these. They won't live my side.
