A knife I cant warm up to.

Why so?
I think it is the handle material. It is the only negative I have about the knife that I can really come up with. Overall size is perfect, lock is fine. Shape, fit and ergonomics to my hand is fantastic but the feel of the material ruins it for me for some reason. I figured it would feel like my Seki knives and it is not at all like them.

Same here, I had one for a week and knew it wasn't a keeper. But, only because of the frn. I would love to have a linered, G10 Native but those are few and far between these days. Kick myself for passing on the Rex45 and St Nick's exclusive.

i love the feel in hand of the native lw. the only thing i that makes it less desirable to me is the blade thickness. it's a great knife, but it definitely feels like it's less slicey in use than most other knives i have. ergos are second only to the manix for me though.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

Nice shot Peace! You've been posting some really cool shots the past few weeks. Won't be long and your photos will be urging me to buy a Manix lol!
Haha thanks PStone! This is my first experience with a Manix and I’m really liking it so far. I shouldn’t be surprised, I tend to really like Eric’s designs. SPY27 has been a pleasure to use and sharpen and has shown no corrosion while sitting in a sweaty pocket for several hours (which tends to rust VG10, IME).

I'm continually smiling and impressed when I read tales of SPY27's corrosion resistance, so I figured a rainy day would be a good place to start. Maybe a good steak for dinner :thinking Like many I haven't encountered any spotting or staining on mine yet:

Titanium Tuesday 🙂
The titanium Byrds were such a good value, hopefully they come back or expand into the Spyderco value line.
