If that's a Roc, you'll have to explain the trick to keeping it so close to the edge of the pocket...

Oh, nice guess. Is that a collab?

Looks like a winner. Also curious about the pocket feel and placement.

Shouldn’t be too difficult.

The “tip” or “corner” on the blade spine seems to slot perfectly underneath the rivet at the top of my pocket to hide the protruding spine. Also the clip is angled along the handle in a way that it aligns the knife in the outside seem of the pocket. It’s actually much more comfortable in pocket than it may seem at first glance.

I am very curious about the Roc… it looks like it could be an amazing utility folder. I’ve always looked at it from afar. … I’ll keep lookin.

I was hoping my suggestion about cutting boards would lead someone to guess.
So now I can ask if you've ever had problems with super blue core, because maintenance and possible rust issues have always stopped me from using non-stainless knives in the kitchen.

No, I haven't had any problems with it. As you can see it's developed a patina, but I'll give it a quick washing after using it, let it sit out in the open after drying it off to allow any moisture to evaporate, then put a plastic sheath on it and put it back in the drawer.

The Carter Itamae series is only going to rust on you if you leave it in the sink over night. In a two hour cooking session with a wet knife, I’ve not noticed any rust.
I’ve only encountered problems with my edge rolling on thick carrots. It’s a crazy thin edge. I use the Spyderco brown rods, and after 40 passes on each side, it’s back to a laser beam. If I avoid carrots, I can go to sharpening once or twice a month. I use the knife almost daily.

This is the Bunka Bucho. Before this knife, my best chef knife was a utility/suntoku Shun (I used it for 10 years, and gave it to my mom because all her knives where 50+ yr old tooth picks.
The Bunka + Mule pull kitchen duty for me now. Best combo.
