Re: Show Your Patina!
I really like how a natural patina comes along even if it doesnt look as good.
I am really looking forward to the k390 police 4 lightweight. I have a feeling it will take over my pocket and I will use it for almost everything. Cant wait to start getting a patina on it when I get one
Heres where my 52100 pm2 is at.

Very nice voodoo!
I'm with you. I much prefer natural aged patina, rather than a forced pattern.
I've noticed the part of the blade that gets the darkest is the thumb hole right where I open the blade

Hey Holland, thanks. I have also noticed the thumb hole seems to patina more. It makes me wonder how dirty my hands must be? :DHolland wrote: Very nice voodoo!

Seventh month of use...
The Lynch clip is from a cerakoted run Casey did a while ago. The coating is quite wear resistant.

Still waiting on an lc200n blade beaten within an inch of its life to get posted here. Maybe I’ll just have to wait for my work knife to get some more hours in.
Lightly insane.

Re: Show Your Patina!
Thanks Barry! :)
Coming up on the 8th month of use now for the 52100 CE PM2. I’m thinking of giving it a li’l rest, as we’re in a hot, humid summer here in southeast Australia. I’ve noticed my usual carbon steel and tool steel EDC knives are rusting a little in the pivot/tang areas and jimping.
