And to think, one of those posts was to welcome me to the forums. It was on a Saturday afternoon, and it was a rather thoughtless post. If I recall correctly, I was asking for a certain type of steel to be used. There are a million of similar posts, and it is not one I would expect Sal to chime in on. I've come to realize that these forums are more than just a place request a certain feature or knife. This is, for the most part, a positive, knowledgeable, and respectful place for Spyderco fans. Sal has played a large role in all of this, so thank you for all you have done.

I’m wondering how many are Sal welcoming a new member? 7,000 of his posts? 5,000.
It’s the sign of a good host. Congrats Sal, keep ‘em coming.

Chris my friend you're most welcome and if I don't have anything useful to contribute I sincerely hope a few here may laugh at my attempts at humour or my stupidity.

Mr Glesser has built something quite special and unique and it's great just hanging out here. I personally have learned more here in a relatively short time than I did in decades through trial and error. I've been fortunate enough to make some friends that I chat with and I view all here as friends even when we disagree on the odd occasion and I s'pose that's why I'm happy to cut loose on the fools that come along and try to rock our little boat. :)

I might be, I don't look much like my dad...always thought I looked more like Paul Hogan.

How does it go..."Ah, hahahaha" I believe. :)
