So we have esnipe and bidnip... anyone use any other programs?

How much do those cost?
To the pessimist the glass is half empty, to the optimist the glass is half full, to the engineer its twice as big as it needs to be.

Indeed, it is a leap of faith and you must trust the sniping service to use it. I travel a lot and the service works for me as I cannot keep my computer on all the time. However there are programs for your PC that will run locally and perform a similar function, I have heard of Auction Sentry and others.

I've had success with Usniper, and I think it's shareware, so it has a free trial period.

I use it to avoid wandering idiots, who's only purpose in life is wander into an auction bid once, raise the price a little and wander off.

Thanks for the info gentlemen. I too am a little nervous about giving out my Ebay login info. I guess that is a lot better than giving out Paypal info though.
