I was going to bring up this point in the other thread but figured there's no sense in arguing about it. It's all good!SpeedHoles wrote:Is it based on year of sales availability, or which year catalog it debuts in?
Like I bought a new car in 2015, but it was actually a 2016 model and would not be considered for the 2015 car of the year...

Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!

I either own or have reserved the rest of them and I'm going to have to work a little harder at some point to get that Stretch.

Looks like the Center of Knives has a few available at 150...Spydergirl88 wrote:Not getting a K2 at $140. What's your biggest regret of the this past year when it comes to spyderco? What's the one that got away?

Not getting the CF/M4 para 2.
Doesn't seem like there are any to be bought on the secondary market either.

Only ordering one backup szabo folder when they were selling for 140$.
Re: Biggest Spyderco regret of 2016
I only sorta regret it, but I sold a 440V Chinook I for "new-shotgun funds".
It was a grail of mine for several years, but after the honeymoon phase passed, I didn't carry or use it.
Now that I think about it, I really regret not buying one of Country Knives' Lum Tanto folders. Now they are gone at prices <$400.

Re: Biggest Spyderco regret of 2016
My biggest regret is probably that I had already bought the K2 and Chubby before they went on closeout. This year I won't buy the models that I have marginal interest in until/unless they are on closeout. Big waste of money otherwise!
