I would like your thoughts, everyone, on the potential power of petitions in general, but especially when it comes to knives and knife rights.
In theory, if enough people, say hundreds of thousands, to even millions or more, all signed pro knife petitions, would this necessarilly guarantee less anti-knife laws, or, could the politicians and others who pass these anti knife laws just ignore the petitions? I have seen and heard of some petitions working, but then I also see others failing.
How effective are they?
