Re: Lil' Native mid back lock

I am a big fan of the back lock Lil’ Native! I wish Spyderco would give it the same S110v blade steel/ dark blue G-19 treatment is has given some of the other Golden made knives.

I am sorry to see the benchstone go. I am glad that I have all three so I should be good for a while.

Re: The Pivot Bushing

Does anyone know which models have the pivot bushing? I am curious to know if there is one in my Lil’ Native?
BTW: there is not side-to side play on mine.

I don’t recall if I posted this before but how about a re-release of the Salsa as a special edition?

Re: What you don't like about spyderco knives?

Hmmmm, what I don’t like about Spyderco knives? The Compression Lock to begin with and not enough back locks. The Compression Lock seems backwards to me and it not very easy for me to operate. I am lucky that my favorite Spyderco, Lil’ Native is available on a back lock.

Re: Pick One Favorite.

I have been giving this some thought, especially since I recently purchased a Dragonfly and Delica in Zome and SuperBlue blade steel. After some thought I would keep my Lil’ Native with the backlock. It simply checks more boxes than my other Spydercos.

I just couldn’t see myself getting all worked up over that. As long as it cuts stuff well what is the problem?

Re: How have your preferences changed over the years?

I have found myself carrying smaller knives as a I have gotten older. I am also not all that concerned about the latest new supersteel. The handle shape and lock is more important to me than what steel the blade is made out of. I have started to really appreciate lockback knives too. They are simple...

Re: custom shop...

when i was originally pitching this idea (i know it wasn't original to me) my main desire was to simply be able to order unavailable versions made up of parts that already exist. for example, i'd like to be able to order a ticn pac salt blade paired with a yellow or green pac salt handle. all the p...
