Re: Share your experience with 15V

I’ve got the 15V shaman and have been pleasantly surprised with its corrosion resistance. I douse it with KPL Knife Shield after each day’s work and it has yet to show any corrosion at all, not even galvanic (I’ve had S90V galvanically corrode in my pocket over the course of a single day at work. I...

Re: Share your experience with 15V

I really didn't like it, so I ended up forcing a patina. https://i.ibb.co/TvXKcbK/PXL-20230714-215019875-NIGHT-2.jpg https://i.ibb.co/yhr7vWw/PXL-20230715-212716154-NIGHT-2.jpg The steel has held up fine for me....

No chipping. Picks up patina faster than Cruwear but nowhere near as fast as M4.

Re: Share your experience with 15V

It's my favorite steel far as pure edge performance goes. I am not a "hard user" and use pretty thin edges, but 15V has held up very well for me. My usage definitely favors higher hardness and wear resistance steels. Corrosion resistance has been great for a tool steel. I am finally findi...

Re: Show off your Mule team scales!

IMG_0744.jpeg Very very cool who sells them? The guy that makes them is a forum user on here, his handle is FullScaler - give him a shout. You can see more of his stuff at his website (https://bladeprotection.com/mule-team-scales/) but I would suggest just sending him a DM if you're interested in b...

I believe there's a thread in here already where 15V is talked about quite a bit. I'll see if I can find it and post it.

Found it...

Re: Share your experience with 15V

i got a very small chip from stripping a wire with my manix. i was kind of bummed about it because it was brand new, but i didn't even bother to try and touch it up. the blade still cuts great. i've never even put it to stones. granted, i'm not a real heavy user and i rotate through quite a few kni...

If you don't wish to be tracked by the G, you can use the same trick with Duckduckgo.com and other search engines.

Don't feed the Google! ;)
