UKPK hardware?

#1

Post by Flash »

A while ago I disassembled a UKPK because the backspring had snapped. I have since made a solid version of the backspring out of RWL34 @ around 56hrc, which appears to at least fit OK.
The thing is I put the screws (and female spindles) in a small sealable bag but have since lost this bag somewhere, likely during a house move.

Does anyone know where I can get good quality replacement hardware for this knife so I can finally finish this project?

Failing that can anyone tell me if it shares the same hardware as the pivot screws on the Delica? - I ask because both are D-shaped blank-headed female spindles with t-8 torx screws.
With the Delica being the more popular model might it be easier to just get 3 of these right? But where from?

Thanks.

Hi Flash,

I would suggest contacting Customer Service and tell them your situation.
