Stretch 2 XL Damascus Blue Nishijin sprint
Full of questions today. I received my New sprint run today. I was so excited until I seen the dent in the show side by a screw. The Damascus blade is beautiful except the uneven grinds on the blade. Which leads me to believe I got a bad one, or a copy. Do they make factory seconds on sprint runs? But after all the videos watched about the Seki plant. And the stringent quality control they do. What do you think?

Post a couple of pictures of the defects and we will take a look at it.

Welcome to the forum!
Pictures would definitely help. Take a look at this thread on one way to post.

Uneven grinds seem to happen from time to time.
I doubt there would be a copy of a sprint run like this.
There are definitely factory seconds of sprint runs and exclusives, but I don't think they plan to make those.
Factory seconds just don't meet their QC requirements, but functionality is not affected. So any run whether it is standard production model or a sprint can produce a factory seconds. Maybe you got one that snuck through and sending it back to the dealer may be the best option. Pictures would help.

It's entirely possible they missed the flaws in QC and it may be worth an exchange from wherever you bought it from. After the exchange, your flawed return would get returned to Spyderco, they would likely turn it into a factory second (marking it with a little notch on the spine), and somebody will end up with your knife at the sale next year.
