Ever strip a hole or a screw when installing a new clip?

Stripped a screw, my fault, but being so small you can do it fairly easy. Called Spyderco and Mike took care of me, sent out new set of screws at no cost.

Don’t know why but the clip screws are the only ones that have the risk of getting damaged in my personal experience when opening a knife to swap scales. I did once have a manix XL with a bad body screw but turned out it was the liner itself was the problem. Took some time but i was able to fix it. The knife came with a ton off blue locktide on that screw. So guess something went wrong there and someone tried to hide it. 😅

There's a Youtuber that jokingly said in a video that he thought the SAL symbol on the knives stood for Soft screws And Loctite :rofl
