Congratulations Dan! Big10 Champs & #3 seed!
I was happy to learn that my Heels got the West #1 seed.
I think Larry's Wildcats are a 3 seed.

I think all three of our teams have a shot of going deep . Illinois could get a surprise but looks like they coild go deeper that past years . UConn path looks rather underwhelming. It’s going to be fun which is what it is for all of us . Dan

That's why I love March Madness Dan..
It's the best sporting event in the world imo
There's nothing else like it
Even UConn could get bounced the first round (remember Virginia) - of course heavy odds UConn will repeat but, it's certainly possible that UConn could get bounced in round 1
As for your Illini, Larry's Cats, and my Heels, if the stars line up just right, either of us could win it all..
It's gonna be a a great tournament

Had actually considered goin to Charlotte to watch Carolina play in the 2nd round Saturday (pending they win Thursday) but, tickets are just crazy expensive (for decent seats)

I would hate to guess the prices for good seats . It would be nice to see RJ Davis , really impressive player . Dan

Yeah, I was shocked. I really wanted to go too.
Only Tourney game I've ever been to was the 1989-90 season 1st round in Knoxville.
Saw Georgia Tech vs LSU - Shaq was a Freshman
Heck of game. High scoring. Ga. Tech won.
Have you been to any tourney games?

I have never been to a tourney game but have been to Champaign. I also had a friend who had excellent season tickets for Bradley University games at Civic Center but the old Fieldhouse on campus was awesome . Old style on top of court that was an old hangar . Dan

That's sounds really interesting & fun
Dan, have you or Larry printed any brackets off?
I always enjoy filling those out.

I hastily filled one out yesterday during a coffee break just to get quick feel for the teams. Ended up with Ill facing UK in the final. All 3 of us were in the final four :smiling-cheeks

You guys are cracking me up ! One thing for sure Midwest with Purdue could be the weakest regional , with Purdue in the backyard . If Painter can’t can’t get this team through at least first two games he should be fired . Backstabbing Coach Pearl crying his team is going West , give me a brake .

Illini over Moorehead State 85-67 . Tight first half , Shannon carried us . Eagles had no answer for Danija and Domask in second half . Eagles basically ran out of gas , bench was too short to go with Illini pace of game . Saturday should be fun ! Dan

Carolina over Wagner, 90-62
Never trailed.
Saturday is gonna be rough.

They're playin good ball now too.

UNC has got this Paul . MSU has gotten better but UNC is on another level . I don’t think MSU can stop both of your two top players . Dan
