M398 would be interesting to try (I passed on the Mule) but I'm not big on the design overall, plus it's right hand only and i am a lefty. Maybe if they sit around for a while, just to try the steel. Won't be fighting the hordes if it goes fast though.

I'll definitely take off the flipper tab if I manage to buy one.

It's a shame they didn't go full Titanium for this model. I wonder if the show side scale is interchangeable with the regular Lionsteel Myto.

I think Spyderco wanted to keep the price of the SpyMyto down ($231.00). The LionSteel Myto has quite a few models at different prices and not even including the ones with Damascus or Black blades. Street prices from a dealer below.

— Full Aluminum Frame Lock: $159.95
— Titanium Frame Lock & Micarta: $203.50
— Titanium Frame Lock & Solid CF: $262.50
— Full Titanium Frame Lock: $262.50

^ Yeah, I'm aware of the big jump in price for the full Ti Myto over the micarta variant.

I still prefer the full Ti Myto. The inside of the micarta scale version looks rough and poorly finished in photos. I also like the milling that the Ti version has.

I think the combination of linerless micarta and a high hollow grind actually makes this knife interesting. Not to the point that I'll be getting in line to buy one, but at this point titanium flippers won't even make me turn my head, and this one definitely achieved that.

LionSteel Myto has a titanium clip and I was wondering if the clip on the SpyMyto is also made of titanium?

Love the design and steel. My winner as well.

What are your recommendations in how to buy this before they are all out? Ive heard spyderco website gets flooded and has difficulties
Everyone please chyme in
Well since they're sold by dealers as well like Mushroom said, you can check several dealers to see if they list it already, and either pre-order it if the option is available, or sign in for alerts on the product page (they're usually a spot where you can fill in you e-mail adress and they'll send you a message once it's in stock).

I'd recommand to do that at every dealer if you really want something. Sometimes the alert aren't as quick as the people refreshing the dealer's page every hour every day :winking-tongue
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Robin. Finally made an IG : ramo_knives

Yeah, it seems as though Lionsteel likes em thick. Kinda like Hinderer. Does have a Hollow Grind to help. But not the model you want to pick up to slice tomatoes for sure. 😂. It will still cut though. Beastly as it may be.

it seemed to do well in the vids i watched. still considering this one, but it will depend mostly on when it drops.

Is it normal for Reveal release to be 3+ months later? Will a new Reveal be released before the last Reveal knives are available? With only a couple years here, I'm still pretty new at this.

Also I presume the blade thickness is to accommodate the flipper tab screw. Takes space for a screw and thread that's on a part that gets removed/stressed.

The reveals were created with the intent of minimizing the time between product reveal and actual availability. The initial goal for the reveal catalogs was to provide, at most, a 90-120 day window for the products to become available to purchase.

For the most part, the products featured in the reveals will meet that window of time but sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances that end up causing delays.

Personally, I would’ve preferred a blade length of 2.99” and a blade thickness of 0.1” for EDC.
Personally, I am sick of small knives. Spyderco has way, way too many pea shooter blades.

Quit downsizing everything.
