My native 5 salt and dragonfly salt
Re: What knife makes you smile whenever you carry it?
C95 Manix.
I don't carry it often, mostly because it's my heaviest spyderco folder, and partially because the edge is on the smaller side for the overall size, but I can't think of another folder that fits my hand as well.

I'm fortunate to have several knives that make me smile. That's why I've kept so many. The one below makes me happier than all of them
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!

Province gives me a giggle every time.
Don't really "carry" it unless I'm tooling around the back yard.

This one. It's not my favorite knife, but it's the one that's in my pocket when I go on big adventures. It's expendable, but always manages to do its job and come home safely. It's been a lot of places.
Re: What knife makes you smile whenever you carry it?
My S90V Yojumbo - it eats broken glass and poops masonry nails, all while radiating menace.
Jokes aside, what a fantastic design for a self defence knife - I can’t imagine many aggressors wanting to tangle with someone wielding a Yojumbo. I use mine for grafting sapling trees, which it is equally fantastic for (and somewhat less messy).

When I haven't carried this one for a while and grab it, it's playful color and that butter smooth compression lock, it is a joy.

Re: What knife makes you smile whenever you carry it?
Well, ALL Spydies I own "make me smile" and give me joy whenever I grab, carry, use one.
Perhaps some do just even more so, and some a bit less..
"Smile plus":
- Any Endura 4:
Just "my" model, always feels like coming home ; perfect regular, not too big, not too small size, especially edge and blade length, great ergos and balance in hand.
- Manix 2 LW in REX 45:
I am in the process of slimming down my array of Spydies once again, and that Manix is the only non-backlock-piece that certainly is going to stay. And is the knife in which I don´t mind the pretty short edge for the overall footprint. Just love the ergos, the burnt orange, the (sadly still just very subtle) patina on the tool steel, and just to use that thing as long as a longer edge is not needed.
"Smile minus"
- Pac Salt SE and Salt 2 SE:
Don´t get me wrong, these are my most carried folders in the outdoors, and the Pac Salt SE could very well be my "if I could have only one" model. They also perform amazing and I love them in use.
But: They "make me smile" a little less than other models. Just connect "emotionally" a bit less with the knife guy in me, and are more "just" tools. Hope you get what I mean...

Yes, if it doesn't makes me smile, then it better be a supremely useful workhorse, like the SE Salts, or I am selling it.
These days I like the ones w customized wood scales, but all my titanium and CF models are perennial favorites.
