Spyderco is like a horrible disease

#1

Post by ImHereForTheMilitary2 »

ANd it just keeps spreading. My neighbor came over, who is not a knife person at all, saw me stropping my new military 2, and asked to see it. After 5 minutes of examining it, he busted out his phone, went online and bought one. So i want to know exactly what pathogen or addictive chemical or illegal drug spyderco is embedding in their handles? :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Kinda like this? 😁

You could imagine replacing the flip phones with people pulling out, opening and using Spyderco folding clip knives, and the catchphrase becomes:

"JOIN THE CLIP SIDE."

It's a disease but it's definitely not horrible

Aye, and execution by one’s wife when she finds your knife collection after a couple of years is usually how it ends 😜

that's why some keep them in the sock drawer. i prefer the underwear drawer. no one is checking there and my underwear already have plenty of holes, so i don't have to worry about that.

Wait till you start having nightmares of all your Spydercos being in a box marked $5 a piece at your estate sale.

:zany :rofl It is for sure a dreaded addiction disease and we used to warn people about it when they joined the forum.

Just got my first spyderco a few days ago and I already want to get another one. After looking at so many knives trying to figure out the one I wanted it just made me want more than one.

I've got a bad case of the disease. It appears hopeless until I get them all!

same neighbor who showed up at my garage last night just called me to ask me about the other spydercos in my collection and other knives I wanted to buy. He hasnt even received his new military 2 yet and hes already looking at others. He has a boat and loves to go out on the water so I told him about the salt series and now I fear I put him on a path that will lead to his divorce lmao
