Checking out daughters garden .MG2

Wow…what’s the one on top? I almost said eggplant but it’s a pepper right?…cantaloupe too? Love a good variety

The intense heat is really taking a toll on our garden and our ability to maintain it. The tomatoes don’t taste as great as they did in June. But there are still good things happening. I had the idea to flag where the watermelons are because it’s hard to see them sometimes. The peppers are serrano, habanero, datil, sugar rush peach.

Yeah the heat is stifling sometimes and you can actually see how it affects the plants…one of our hydrangeas had burnt tips on some of the leaves, also the cucumber and fig leaves just wilt in the sun around 4 in the afternoon…we’re having to water a couple times a day…thank you for sharing SG, you are the QUEEN OF THE SOIL… sorry was that too corny? No pun …those tomatoes and peppers are beautiful

It a pepper daughter is growing and has not tried it yet . Very deep purple almost black in color . I’m glad SG89 has been posting shows what a garden should look like . I envy all the flat yards I see ! . Dan

Nope, sadly I’ve never even heard of zucchini bread but I sure do love Banana bread so much so that sometimes I may or may not be guilty of hiding a few here and there so someone makes it …gonna look up zucchini bread recipes right now cuz we have some left from the last time I picked it

The next best thing to growing your own is having a pick and pay farm down the road…really cool old school farm that’s been around for a very long time (generational)…the couple that lives there still implements the honor system and cash only

Wait…What? I’ve harvested like 7/8?

I had four plants brought home by wife that got mixed in an order for landscaping for Caterpillar . They had no card , clueless what they were going to be . They have been producing like crazy ! My Tabasco plants are popping finally ! Will take a picture soon .

Well that’s like getting some killer knives in the Spyderco mystery box …Bananarama!!!… to me the tobasco plant is the prettiest with all the different colors…I think my pepper plants are behind cuz they were the last thing planted…I built that raised bed after everything was in the ground and it’s my “pepper patch”…I love peppers and the different things you can do with them
