St. Nicks 4V Military 1

#1

Post by vivi »

Rumor has it we could see these for sale before 2023.

Who else is getting one?

While I'm really excited for the Military 2, I'm grabbing at least one of these. It will be a great steel for the Military, and a great send off for the Millie should it stop getting sprints once the 2 launches.

Sssssshhhhhhh...we don't want everyone to know, so we can make sure to get one because those are going to sell insanely fast. 4 inches of a great steel just sitting around in boxes and safes for 90% of them.
15 :bug-red 's in 10 different steels
1 - Bradford Guardian 3 / Vanadis 4E Wharnie
1 - Monterey Bay Knives Slayback Flipper / ZDP 189
1 - CRK Small Sebenza 31/Macassar Ebony Inlays
1 - CRK Large Inkosi Insingo/ Black Micarta Inlays
1 - CRK Small Sebenza 31 Insingo/Magnacut

Grabbing a sprint isn't an issue with the big boy knives :cheap-sunglasses

Yeah, I’m on it! It’s been way to long since I have been able to add another flavor of my favorite knife to the pile.

I’ve got a titanium Millie and a blacked-out S30V variant. Might as well make it a trifecta!

I will definitely pick up one of these. Manix XL is cool but Millie is king.

I missed the Chief in 4v so I might well try and grab one. I say try as I think they will go just as fast as the Manix XL so if they are released on a day I might be traveling . . . oh well.

I suspect a coating on the blade will keep me out of this game.

I’m definitely in for a St. Nick’s Knives Military 4V Black DLC & Red G-10 with Liner Lock and Black Coated hardware, clip and liners.

Oh man, I don't think I'm going to be able to say no to this one.

I will immediately order aftermarket scales, though - don't dig the red + black.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I’m in for one. It’s Sal’s greatest design. It’s Spyderco’s greatest knife. :) in fact, I might be in for two.

I only have a couple DLC knives but I like this color combo very much.

Oh yeah! I had an early tip that this was going to happen. Can't wait! I'm also pleased to hear that it (apparently?) is going to be the linerlock.

I'd be all over this one. I like my 4V Jester quite a bit, I feel like a Military would compliment it nicely! :zany

I’m really tempted.
Honestly, the Rex45 military burnt orange g10 and the S110V blurple Militarys don’t leave me asking for more. To be clear, I have neither, want both, the one I really want seems to only be “for sale” on ebay, and I’m not yet well enough acquainted with the “secondary market” stuff to know if there’s a better way of finding said knife.
I just think those steels are perfect choices and the colors look good.

However, this is bound to also be a super handsome knife at least as good as those, so who knows how things will go.

As long as it's a Military 1. Gag! I hate even having to put a 1 after Military.

This would have me open the wallet. I am doubtful it would happen.
