Interesting thing about the liners is they follow the contour of the scales everywhere, except for the front palm swell. Like maybe Spyderco has noticed all the "skinny" mods people have been doing?

Ooph, that one is tempting. Still think I’ll hold out for the Crucarta, but it’s getting harder.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I'm not a Millie guy and don't own one (too big for me), but I have to say I think the Millie has one of the best choils I've ever seen, about 2/3 into the handle and 1/3 into the blade. That gives all the advantages of a choil without using up much blade space.

Nice.

who's making those scales? I was debating between digicam + dlc or black scales + dlc, something like that would be ever cooler though.

Btw. I bought the knife from National Knives! They are great! Was originally a black and DLC version and it only cost $185. I always appreciate when a knife shows up wrapped in that microfiber towel. Thanks Rob!
