I'd love to see a dealer exclusive/sprint with different scales.

I'm kinda surprised this one never got the Blade HQ M4/jade treatment, but I guess it's not much of an exclusive since the steel was always M4.

I was always on the fence about this model but if it were offered in the CruCarta combo I'd be extremely interested.

A GB1 or GB2 in jade would sell like hotcakes :shush

GB1 is a lovely knife, but really could loose some weight and get different scale finish - I found the carbon fiber a bit too slippery and not a great combination with that shallow finger choil. Oh and please, no 'proud' liners.

I agree, grippier scales would be better.

I think it the new era of Lightweight versions, a GB1 LW would be amazing.

The only reason I don't carry my GB1 more, is that it is around 5 ounces. Send it to Taichung, slim it down, nest the liners in some FRN and call it good.

Any Gayle Bradley knife, new or older, coming to our dealers would be welcomed. Just like the models made by many for Spyderco !
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

That's what I was going to say

I know we all like different things and I'm usually not one for heavy knives but all the features that I've been seeing people mention that need to go away are features that make the GB1 what it is. The weight, scales, proud liners, shallow choil are all part of the appeal for me. I wouldn't mind different scales and maybe even a different steel (big maybe) but I like the knife the way Mr. Bradley designed it. And for those who don't like the GB1 there's always the GB2 to consider
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!

Every Spyderco fan should at least briefly handle both GB1 and GB2. Two awesome, albeit quite different (handling) knives. GB1 is in the class of Tuff for me. I did not keep either, but actually love both.

I'm just holding out hope that we get to see a GB3 someday.

My advice for those wanting a GB1 is to be persistent and find one...

For those who only want to tweak the GB1 or GB2? Nope. :winking-tongue
So it goes.

About those snag notches … when cutting with my PM2 large pieces of cardboard - The finer choil with the ramp in front of it is a snag notch per excellence. Well made sharpening choil and handle design combination don’t tend to snag (much).

I've had this happen too, that's why I'd just assume not have a finger choil either.
