The Next Shaman Sprint

Does anyone know if there is an upcoming exclusive for this model? I can't even find the base model anymore. The prices will probably be really inflated when they return... I really want a Shaman in a tool steel like k390 or else maybe in Magnacut with some tastefully colored scales.

Titanium scales (not RIL) or micarta be it linen or denim micarta. Magna Cut and perhaps a nub delete but I can do that myself like I did already.

I marvel at my Z-WEAR Shaman, still, for number of reasons. But this is one of those models where I wasn't 'planning' on having more than one. #5 here.

Micarta and K390, Rex45 or Cruwear as a production model would be great. Sprints can be cool and all, but cool production configurations are important.

I'm sure it's a broken record at this point and I'm also sure it probably doesn't need to be said and is probably a given, but I'm in when they come in MagnaCut and hopefully in SE too. I'm still curious what the MagnaCut color will be.

They're should be a number for "there's no way I'll buy one but it'll still out immediately". I'm joining the chorus of "we need a regular production micarta and tool steel variant before more sprints/exclusives"

I'd rather have one new desirable variant that I can actually buy than four new variants that are sold out before I can buy them and two that I have no interest in.

Once supply chains and production have settled down, go crazy with the sprints. But until I can actually buy regular production models with any kind of regularity, maybe they should pump the brakes a bit?

The shaman is my jam. I have zero complaints with it and consider it my folding mule. Of course I'm in. Currently have s30v PE, m4, rex45, s90v, Zwear. Really looking forward to magnacut and k390. I'd prefer the 67 HRC of the seki heat treat over the 64 of the bento box golden exclusives... Other steels I would buy, although much less likely to be run, include 10v, vanadis 8, Vanax, and high hardness aebL/14c28n. I might even consider 3v and lc200n.

A sprint is not an exclusive. Spyderco wags its own tail with former, the latter less so.

Because G10 and S30V remain the production version’s materials (for all sorts of calculated reasons), polling for a sprint is the least production-disruptive way of getting a desired variant.

ETA: Polling for a dealer/distributor exclusive, on the other hand, can lead and has led to suffocation of catalog models in favor of putting some signature steel/handle combinations in place of those models and discontinued ones, too.

Yea, count me in on this being impossible to pass on. I'd love a Golden model (Manix, Shaman, Chief) in that set up.
