Reading this thread I wish I picked up the Urban when it became available last month.
The Urban was good, and I like it, but it is not the same standard as the UKPKs out of Golden.

Have faith brother / sister; Sal said it would happen, so it WILL happen. I trust in Sal.

We must be patient.

When are the Magnacut/Spy23 coming out? I'm tempted to pick up a LC200N or a S110V but not sure which steel would suit me best

Just checking on on this. When I saw the Urban arrive in this configuration I just felt it was a precursor to the UKPK!

Also hunting for a 4 pin HH to keep me occupied in the mean time 😊

Hunting down the HH 4 pin UKPK is a real adventure. I got my first one from a forumitee in the EM forum.
If the UKPK Damasteel comes to reality I might end up buying two. The same way with the Damasteel Urban. Unfortunately I'll have to hunt them down from the US again because in mainland Europe and UK the pricing for high end spyderco is stupid high. Damasteel urban was around 332gbp. Roughly about 420usd. We buy them at MSRP price and above. I imagine a Damasteel ukpk will end up around 400gbp in the UK.

If the knife had polished ivory scales I'd have to sell my house and buy one, I think. Just kidding, of course. This knife would be a real beauty.

I have a few of those HH UKPKs. They are proper crackers. G10 is such a small upgrade, but makes such a huge difference. How much can it really change the RRP?

I wish all the others were available in that. The FRN is fine, but it just feels a bit cheap.

For me, it’s all about that steel backspacer on the G10 UKPK. I think that makes a huge difference.

I actually just sold my HH UKPK on BladeForums the other day when I received my Damasteel Urban (I’m having some minor regrets about that, lol), because I am SUPER hopeful that will still see the Damasteel UKPK.

I hope it will be a leaf blade. It is more elegant looking and more practical for my uses than the skinner blade.

My opinion goes the other way on both accounts. But I am actively aware that I am part of a minority here.

Did I miss that (Spy27) or has it not arrived in the UK yet?

It was released not too long ago and seems to be slowly making its way to dealers, so it may have just not made it to the UK quite yet.

Thanks for the reply, the S30V HH exclusive has really whet my appetite for the Magnacut variant.

Hi Panther,

Welcome to our forum.

Hey David,

Construction is behind. It will have to wait until the expansion is finished. We're looking at Spring. Hope we can begin it then.

Same. I got the S30V HH UKPK a few days ago, and while I like all of my normal UKPKs for their lightness, the G10 just fancies it up a bit. I am all for as many UKPK variants as they want to put out.

Hoping the rest of the expansion goes smoothly this fall/winter.
