The diamond arc green is the same color as the forest green on the Knifeworks 204p exclusives, and on the Brouwer and the Wolfspyder. It's a much darker green with more blue undertones than the ranger green or foliage green on other models. Green being my favorite color, I really like them all.

If the REC Para 2 is really only $170 and it comes up again, I may take a crack at trying to get one. I thought the Para 3 they did was my perfect knife but missed the boat. I do really enjoy these colors, and I hope they do a re-run of the Para 3 as well.

On Facebook they said they're not rerunning the exact Para 3, but later on down the line may change the steel to differentiate it.

that really stinks. i do like the p3 better than the pm2. i may buy this one anyway when it comes up again. i will absolutely buy a yo2 and/or manix 2 if they make it in this combo though.

The word 'round the interwebs seems to be that they might do another para3, but it wouldn't be exactly the same. Maybe as with the crucarta/zwear shamans, they'll just change the steel to a 204p analog like m390. I think a para3 lightweight would be sweet, or of course a Manix. More green! More PVD! :p

I'd be down with an analog like M390 or 20CV.

I'd also be very, very down for a LW Para 3 with their color scheme.

Now there are two of these with BIDS of $355 plus shipping with days left in the auction! :eek: If people want to get stupid with these I might be temped into listing mine and just waiting for the next batch. Would that make me a "flipper" or just "shrewd"? :p

I got mine to be a user, but I won’t lie if someone was standing in front of me with $335 and wanted it that badly I’d be tempted. I already have another M390 user PM2 after all.

I sold a Delica from BBS last year, to free up funds for another purchase. Going into it, I figured I'd get $60-70 for a used knife. Nope. I was offered $130 by one person, and $135 by another, for a knife that was still in stock on the BBS website. I did consider buying more to see if I could make a few bucks, but I didn't like the idea of potentially being stuck with whatever I bought. Oh well.

I think there must be a group of people who don't pay attention to the retailers and their exclusive runs, but have plenty of disposable income to blow on inflated prices. Thrill of the hunt maybe? A quick 5 second search would have shown that they could have purchased a brand new M390 Delica for less.

I don't flip knives for profit, but being a capitalist, I also don't care if anyone else does. It's only hurting feelings, not harming anyone's well-being. Maybe in this case, it's less frowned upon, or at least a gray area, because the knives will be available again.

I got a preshipment notification on the USPS site. Order status from REC is "shipped."

Same. I wonder how many they had. :confused: On social media after the sale they said they were working to get them out same day, so I figured today at the latest.

I’m fortunate enough to work only 10 minutes from Rivers Edge, and just happened to stop by yesterday morning to see if they would have any in store when released. The salesman said they would, but couldn’t tell me how many so just come back right when I got the email notification. Not two hours later I got it and hopped on the car and snagged one! Great guy, remembered me and pulled it off to the side for me while he was helping the previous person.

I’m hopeful they do not have issues with their ordering, but he did say they may have to take some they were going to hold back for in store, and ship them to online customers, so it was a good thing I stopped by when I did. Said they were holding back 50 for in store, but I didn’t ask how many total were made.

Hope everyone starts seeing them ship soon!

Well that's a bummer. Looks like I'm not getting one until the next batch. The only solace is knowing there are some flippers on eBay who will be getting negative feedback for pre-selling a knife that won't be shipped to them. :D
