What is the last "E" in Spyderco Military C36GPE

Anyone knows what "E" means in C36GPE?
C36 is a model number, G means G10 scales, P means plain... What does the last "E" mean?

Then the Green Spyderco Military C36GPGR should actually be Spyderco Military C36GPEGR? But it's just C36GPGR

I can't remember what thread it was talked about but someone from Spyderco chimed in saying they use PE and P to signify plain edge. I think P and S and C are the newer classification as opposed to the older classification of PE SE CE. Might have been explained in a recent catalog too
