As soon as I saw this moded Chaparral in an auction,I knew I had to have it. Never mind the british racing green dyed handle, that moded blade is what makes me a happy camper.This I tell you , it's a better user with that kinda reverse tanto tip .... it looks awesome too :cool: I am going to mod another one myself ASAP. This moded Chapie just became my perfect urban edc :spyder: I expect some feedback from a certain Doc

That looks pretty cool. It is almost a clip point, rather than a reverse tanto. Still, it looks okay. I think if the grind on the spine was moved back towards the tang just a small amount, it would be even more pleasing to the eye still. The Chaparral is a great little knife.

I'm glad you like it, but I prefer the original blade.

If possible, could you let us know which color of RIT dye was used?

Nice, I like the grind.

Prefer the aesthetics of this more obvious angle change to the subtle (but once you see it you always see it) hump of the factory spine.

I like the color, too.

Very cool- I gave my delica a straight spine and a slight swedge but that’s about all my excitement
