Don't know, What I can tell you is that the piece I have is thick (.186"), and heavy (4 lbs 11 oz), that the cuts are quite smooth, and that the "notch" at the start of each cut looks like the one in the upper left of this photo:

Hmm that looks more like water jet than laser to me. Could be wrong though.

A difficulty with some PM steels is that they don’t work well when processed as ingot steels. Either huge carbides or alloy segregation prevent them exhibiting the fine properties seen in the PM version.

Ultimately, the bookkeeping and inventory control gets too expensive.

I honestly don't remember, but I think it was around $100.

That would be worth it just to hang on a wall as art.
