If the blade looks like the semi-sheepsfoot leaf-shaped one on the Pac Salt? No

If the blade is a real sheepsfoot like the one on the Rescue, or something similar to the one on the upcoming Smock? Yes, but only if they make it with an FRN handle
Well, it's hard to escape the leaf shaped blade if you're a spyderco fan. There's upwards of 40 models that follow that. But I do like the shape of the Pacific Salt's blade. As I said it would add lifetime to the blade. Models with pointy tips lose blade length at a rapid rate with every sharpening. With the Manix XL, I don't mind it, as it's a tall blade. But I use knives a lot and normally plan on keeping them for a long time, so things like that matter to me. Not to mention, I've snapped tips off several pm2's and millies.
What's the most you've ground off a Spyderco through regular use?

Here's mine. A Police 3 that was used for a decade before I retired it in favor of a P4. Still a few more decades of life left.

Sheepsfoot blades are good on a stockman, but I do not find them useful on larger knives.

No. I’d be lost without the pointy tip. It is vital for so many things is use my knife for. Piercing, reaming, and more.

I answered maybe, because I haven't bought a PM2 in like 7 years so I'm not sure a blade shape change would make enough difference, though I do really like sheepsfoots. Honestly I'd be FAR more interested in some non Salt variations of the Caribbean sheepsfoot.

A sheepsfoot PM2 eh? Cross that with a Shaman and you might have reinvented the Benchmade Griptilian -- except it would have a compression lock.

Yes, I could warm up to a sheepsfoot PM2. Maybe.

Answer was no.

But I love my Pingo, as my travel/ food prep knife as it cuts and spreads when I am in a remote hotel in the middle of nowhere and a sandwich for 3 meals a day is all I get sometimes. (Probably the back of this knife gets used more than the cutting edge.)

I always have another knife for work
Im a vegetarian as technically cows are made of grass and water.
