People will not be happy when Amazon has knocked out all the traditional Bricks and Mortar shops.

I have an account but don't think I've ever ordered from them.

And probably won't.
I don't ever buy knives (or anything else) from amazon, for a variety of reasons. but I do check their prices often out of curiosity.

Likewise

The fact they "sell" fakes, not that they know is enough for me.

Plus I think other places, knife centre et al do a good job so I'll support them.

I suspect the left hand doesn't know or care what the right hand does. Could simply be an algorithm.

If product 'X' sits unsold for 'Y' number of days, reduce price by 'Z' %. Do -> until product sells.

Just a hypothetical example, but it's not unreasonable to think that with an inventory as vast as Amazons, machines may set the pricing on a lot of items. The algorithm may not take things like MAP into consideration.

The same way Amazon sells everything so cheap. They underpay their labor force.

Amazon does even more volume when scammers swap out and return fakes which you then buy, discover and return. That’s a 3x volume bump right there. (where’s the poo emoticon?)

That's interesting, they're hiring for $21 an hour in my area or picker/packers.

I assume that’s pretty decent money for Kentucky, yeah?

There are entry level management jobs making less. I guess that doesn't mean they still aren't under paid but it's almost 3x minimum wage for an entry level no experience required job.

That's not bad for a warehouse job, no skills experience.

It's actually more than the basic minimum for a warehouse job in Aus.

I worked for them about 5 years ago in PA. Pay was $11 for a picker/stower

I'm sure it varies from place to place. They've been advertising wage increases a lot this year.
