Next to the fantastic Brouwer, the Smock was my most anticipated blade for this year.

Any indication if it still is expected to drop this calendar year?

We should have it in-house. The question is whether or not it will get through QC and packaging.

Give me a job in your QC department and I'll move my family out to CO! I'm a gemologist by trade and have a keen eye for detail...

Really looking forward to the Smock...the F&F from the 2 Taichung models I bought so far this year (Rhino & Kapara) are immaculate. Keep up the good work guys!

That looks like a very interesting design, the Smock.

It's the only knife I've pre-ordered all year.
Oh that waiting game... that pesky waiting game...

I checked my order with Campsaver again and unfortunately the Smock is back to "Extended backorder - unknown ETA". Oh well, there's still plenty of 2018 left...

I guess we couldn't make it 2018. Should I have high hopes for January?

Haven't heard anything in a while on the Smock. Has it hit QC yet? Any kind of update?

After extensive mathematics and scenario simulations... I have to say I don’t think it’s gonna be here for 2018

By far the most frustrating wait for a release...I don't normally complain about these kinds of things, but nearly 10 months on pre-order is getting my panties in a bunch!

Based on Sal’s comments in November and the holidays slowing things down, my assumption is it’s coming sooner than later. I’m not shocked by its absence in the reveal since its in the regular catalog for 2019.

Regardless of the wait, I’ll be there for it!

I will be keeping an eye open for it... though a 2nd run of CQI spydiechefs may take my wallet... along with the inevitable and much anticipated Shaman variants.

Btw Gibson, love your forum picture. Office Space was one of my favorite films, and as I get older... the more I relate to it haha.
