Sage 2, Manix BL, Sprig. Gone before their time. :(

I never panic buy, but this thread and the sales that accompany always cause me to re-examine my want list and adjust accordingly. The last time I didn't do this, the Schempp khukuri disappeared from dealer shelves and the secondary market prices started to rise (they still haven't stopped)

Ugh...I was finally going to buy the Sprig two days ago, but came across a good deal on another used, discontinued knife on my wish list. I bought that thinking, "I can get the Sprig later." Now, bam! Well I got to get in where I fit in. I learned my lesson with the Slysz Bowie. I just picked up the Sprig at KC. Can't beat that price.

I am sad that I can't afford a Sage 2 or the original (better IMO) Mantra. I have wanted those for a while as well.

Just snagged the d'allara and the atr2 from knife center. I've wanted both for awhile but I couldn't justify the price.a tad bit out of my knife budget. I know a ton of work went into the atr and I know Sal is very proud of it. I expect both knives to serve me very well for a very long time.

The Junction was tempting me at the old price. At the current price it'll be hard to resist.

I was excited for the disco'd bargains but after looking through everything and re-watching vids, I don;t see anything that I want.

Bought a Sage 2 as future trade fodder, now I need to find something for daddy! I'm having trouble deciding between an ATR or Ouroboros or.... so many choices.

Love my sage 2, glad I already have one. Jumped on a rubicon 2 though. Been interested in that one for a while but didn’t love the price. The KC price was right. :)

I'm a bit surprised that the A.T.R. 2 is gone. I thought it only hit shelves relatively recently, and assumed that it would have at least one more year.

I'm tempted to buy something just because. :) Not sure what though. The price for the Mantra is nice and I have a $20 KC giftcard that would make it even more attractive. The one I have is in great shape. I'm usually not one to buy back-ups but I like that M4 blade so much I feel compelled to do it. Undecided...

One-eyed Jack would be great buy if I used my giftcard. I'm still not sure about this one though. Not really big on the playing card theme but that filework is great. I don't really need another gent's knife but...

Then there's the kitchen knives. I was already thinking about getting my girl one of these but she already has the K04s & K05s and is really happy with them. The K11P & K12P are really nice though.

The Sprig is sweet but not sure why I'd want (or need) a fixed blade. It'll probably end up in the kitchen drawer next to the Bow River I'll buy when released.

Ugh! Gonna have to give this some more thought. If something sells out in the meantime...oh well I guess.

As usual, a mix of jaw droppers and "good riddance" :) (strictly from *my* point of view of course!)
I'd have thought the ATR 2 and Manix backlock had more life in them..
as someone already said, get the Sage 2 while you can, it's a gem!
You know, I had preordered and purchased two separate examples of the atr 2 and I must say am not surprised they are killing it. Both of mine had tons of fit and finished issues, tons of blade play and locks that would fail under hand pressure. Very disappointing.

I am not too sorry to see any of these knives go, except the M2 back lock. Are they kidding? This is the best M2 ever made. Now, a color change would be nice, say forest green, or something. But to discontinue the best back lock knife on the market? Unthinkable.

Looks like I need to buy another Mantra 1 as a backup

Sad to see the junction and sprig on there...

Just remembered that the dallara 3 was supposed to be a trial for the frn version - I'm excited.

I'm not sure it had the sales numbers to justify an FRN version
