Knifecenter just illegally refused my shipments from their end. So I get no knives. American Express informed me that no matter what I said over the phone(I was going to dispute the duplicate charge), it was illegal for KC to stop the shipments without refunding me. Amex has refunded me already and will be investigating this illegal activity. Beware of knifecenter!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, Trevor thought it was hilarious when I told him I was going to post my experience today on the forum here. Maybe it is funny to him. How many of you all think it’s hilarious?

@Sal you have an amazing product and company with outstanding service. But places like knifecenter are leaving a sour taste in your customers mouths. Last time I felt like this, it was knifecenter. Someone from your staff stepped in, after multiple tries to work with knifecenter to make it right.

I've had questionable experiences with Knifecenter. I had no problem paying more from BHQ for my One Eyed Jack. I hope your issues get solved and you find the knives you wanted from a reputable source. I agree in avoiding Knifecenter.

Thanks. I got my money back from Amex, and now have a Genzow hatchethawk and another wolfspyder headed my way straight from Golden and the SFO. I called to order and Colin took the order. Now he is what every retailer should strive to be. Very friendly, knowledgeable and today, patient while I flip flopped between the two and then just ordered both. Someone give that man a raise!!!

I've never had an issue with Knifecenter. I even like them, especially after using my $50 rewards credit recently. Sorry to hear you had a bad time though.

Yea I preordered from them only to cancel it after the knife became available other places and no one could tell me if I was definitely going to get one. Seems like they are unconcerned about overselling. I no longer use them, too many other good dealers out there.

Check out dlt trading and their rewards program. 3 points per dollar spent, cash in at 800(that’s $266) instead of 400@KC (that’s $400) It pays back 50% more than knifecenter. So for every $400 spent, KC gives $10 back, but DLT gives you back $15. And they have additional ways to earn around $10 in FREE rewards! No purchase required! Start with $10 before you even buy anything!

My vtoku Endura I preordered there on 12/18/17 is still “delayed by manufacturer”. Though I cancelled it when I bought one at NewGrahamKnives.

Glad to see the Q-Ball live to fight another day. So much potential with that design. I know Spyderco isn't in the habbit of moving production of knives. But I feel like if this knife were made in Golden (G-10 from Japan comes with too high of a premium) with a nice tool steel it would really take off.

DLT is good too, but so is Knifecenter as far as I'm concerned.

At this point, it is no secret that you should only treat the preorders as a back up plan. They've never had a problem cancelling an order immediately as I found the knife elsewhere. I appreciate the option of a Sprint Run preorder, but it looks like it may not be in their best interests seeing how sore it leaves those who don't get in early enough.

And, unfortunately for the old wallet, dropped the price on some, causing me to cave and buy the Euroedge.

Seems the Sage 2 is the one that's the hardest to find on this list..must have been a serious pent up demand for that one.

Just got the sprig last night after seeing your comments. Thank you! On a side note I just got hit with my first tax for buying knives online. $10.50, that was not fun. :(

Picked up the D'allara 3 at KC. Knife is built well but my only issue is the ball lock. I can barely pull the ball back to unlock the blade. I thought i read in a post that they had to use the finger nails to dig in enough to pull the ball back. I have the old D'allara and the access to the ball lock is wider.
Wished they made the ball a tad bigger. But I'll still take it at the discontinued price.

Me too...
It's a good price considering the model, so I guess the V-Toku 2 won't be my first Stretch.

I am, however, gonna sell some knives to appease the wife when she finds out I spent another $170 on yet another knife.

It's really good, actually. I wouldn't mind a stronger detent because I can shake the blade out with some effort, but no concern about it opening in my pocket and it's not so weak that's it's hard to flip. I'd call the action average to a bit above average. The knife itself it so gorgeous though, much more so in person than in any photo I've seen.

I am kinda surprised Spyderco is discontinuing the Manix 2 back lock. I’ve been looking at the Manix 2 for a few weeks now and was trying to figure out what model to get. I’m looking for something ambidextrous so I can utilize my left hand/pocket. However the fact that I’ve been drooling over the Euro Edge since I layed eyes on it the first time is forcing me to pull the trigger and buy it.
