What does permanent mean? Half of the posts in this forum are about wanting a sprint of a discontinued model.

There are many knives that I'd be ecstatic to see in Maxamet: Shaman, Military, Ronin 2, and even the Street Beat!

The Shaman is such a beautiful knife. Even in S30V I think I just have to have one. It is one of my fav knives of all time and I don't have one.

I'm in the same boat. I need to save more money. I think right now I'd prefer a DLC M4 Shaman, or perhaps DLC REX 45, if I couldn't have Maxamet that is. But if nothing comes out in the coming months I'll have to get one in s30v.

Man a M4 DLC Shaman, or a Shaman Maxamet would be a dream come true... I'm pretty sure one day the Micarta Cruwear will be upon us, but until then I am really enjoying my DLC Shaman. I bought it early in my "collection" expanding phase and it still competes with the PM2 for pocket space.
The only thing knocking them out on occasion is the Spydiechef... but the Shaman always comes back because it is a thick beast knife that carries light and super easy to operate one handed. Knowing what my PM2 can do I would put my life in the Shaman's hands if I needed to.
