Is there a viable replacement option for Teflon washers used in Spyderco knives? Eric talked on YouTube via Blade 2018 that Spyderco has been evolving in regards to washers. That Spyderco has learned a lot in a short time and is using bronze phosphorus washers now.

I am not sure how Spyderco will deal with a Teflon washer failure, but is there aftermarket bronze phosphorus washers that can be used if the knife owner chose to do so?

You can purchase phosphor bronze washers from pretty much any knife maker's supply company.

Has anyone done this before? Like the mantra 1 (thin metal washer) and the Lionspy (Teflon washers) ???
