Opened up a delivery of some sharpening supplies with the CruCarta PM2...

Slightly off topic, but how do you like that Sencillo?
... The Magnacut Sencillo will solve all those problems. The balance is beautiful and the round handles help with twisting and turning around the curves better than a flat handle.
At 65yo I may never need another skinner. And I'll never hit the bear woods again with only one skinner.
Thanks much friend, glad to hear it!

I handled one a few weeks ago at a knife shop in Frederick, MD. Seems a lot like an improved Izula.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Opening frozen orange chicken packaging for dinner, heh. Cuts plastic better than most of the kitchen knives and steak knives laying around.

The dirtiest of jobs. Replacing a broken flange that is glued to the drain line. Cruwear PM2 helped scrape some stubborn pieces. Sometimes a smaller blade helps get into tight places while maintaining force at the tip. This is why I like to carry a 3.5" blade most days. Nimble enough, but still long enough for most needs. I could carry a smaller and a larger blade. That would work, but usually I like having a wharncliffe as my second like today's Endela.

11 years together with my wife today. Decided to give flowers a chance for the first time since having 2 kitties in the house. Shes been terrified of them eating them and getting sick so flowers have been a no no! (Lucky me she's more of a fan of wild flowers than roses haha!)

Good ole Delica will help trimming the stems for the vase

Congrats Rick!

No pics, but the VW wagon developed a leak from the roof rack, and VW doesn’t make the gaskets anymore. Used my Rockjumper to cut some neoprene gaskets no problemo. A sharp wharnie is a very powerful tool.

My absolute, most favorite, number one, bestest reason to use a Spyderco is...

Opening a package containing a new Spyderco!

Father-in-law bought us a cut-to-fit rubber mat for the wife’s Subaru, but she already had one. So to my car it goes!

Rockjumper made quick work of the 1/4” rubber.

I just cut a kid's shoe off of his foot. My son and his friend were riding bikes when the kid's shoelaces got caught in the bike pedal. Each turn of the pedal tightened the laces. Happened too quickly to stop the situation before it was too late. The laces were so tangled and tight that the only option was to cut. I felt bad for the kid, you could tell it hurt and the ankle was already starting to swell because the circulation to the foot was getting cut off. The trusty SE Endela cut like a hot razor through soft butter, and the slight dip in the tip made the close work less stressful.
