Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Started on a pallet of mulch for a switchback walking trail, part of a crazy big lscp job
Finished the last of the plant install-I have no clue how many different varieties of flowers, plants and trees were put in but just to name a few - Japanese maples, azaelas, rhododendron, ferns, roses, camellias, impatiens…I could’ve used my utility knife for opening these but what’s the fun in that?…I took a bunch of pics and posted on “Show your flowers and plants” thread
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
My wife needed to cut a whole bunch of pool noodles lengthwise for a project she's (I'll probably end up ) doing.
She asked me if I had a knife for her to use. Her knife "collection" is a bunch of cheap blunt kitchen knives that are tossed in a drawer in the kitchen with a bunch of other utensils. I call it the drawer of death.
I planned on giving her the DF2 Wharnie K390 but she started when I wasn't home and out of the knives on my dresser (its a good thing she didn't check in the dresser) she chose the Chaparral.
Good choice milady!!

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
That is truly a great design for a large folder. I had one, liked it, and may have to get one again. Had the SE version worked out, I would have already.
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
i still need to get the s35vn version. i was one of the people asking for an upgraded steel, but other models keep pushing the resilience back in the line. i'm also restricted to sub-4" blades where i live, which doesn't help, but i still want one anyway.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

Just cut up some taters and a pomegranate.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Finally got to use my Franken-Native 5 to clean a fish. It wasn't even my catch - we had a horrendous hike up to a lake in the mountains, climbing over dead old-growth evergreens, dead trees to cross streams, etc. In the end my friend got one tiny rainbow which he would have released but it swallowed the hook. So I got to work on it and I guess it was my friend's snack last night. I had a fried oyster sandwich on the way home :)
Next week I'm hoping the Siren can get initiated when we go jetty fishing for hopefully, ling cod.

Used my CE Resilience to trim our trees by the sidewalk last night, then Millie handled picnic duty today.
Hadn't carried it in a while, but anticipiation for the DLC Millie 2 is slowly setting in :)
