I knew I must be missing something!ferider wrote: ↑Sun Oct 14, 2018 5:58 amThats because that chart compares CPM M4 vs Cru-wear. CPM Cru-wear is tougher, closer to 3V actually.JacksonKnives wrote: ↑Sun Oct 14, 2018 2:11 amI'd be interested in seeing more side-by-side results with M4. Crucible's own charts show M4 at the same toughness with better wear resistance, so other than ease of sharpening I'm having a hard time understanding the hype. (I've never had trouble sharpening M4, so I've stayed off the bandwagon.)

Inland, cruwear will seem stainless. Near saltwater though, you'll see some rust.

+1. Plus it is MUCH more stainless than CPM M4 and 52100 in my experience. I really hope that CPM Cru-wear hits some more models in 2019. Native LW, Manix LW, G10 Native, Manix XL, Manix Backlock, Shaman, and a CQI Military would all be must buys. A DLC CPM Cru-wear Para 3 would be awesome to see as well.
