If BHQ make a Sliverax in M4/jade G10 I'll buy 2.

Have there ever been non-Seki City knives that get Super Blue, Hap-40, or ZDP? A Gayle Bradley with one of those steels would be interesting.

I like your first suggestion best! I'm not a big fan of jade G10 but I guess the upside is that I could dye the scales whatever color I wanted.

There is also the red weave and blue weave carbon fiber Domino from Knifecenter. Also, the orange Positron but these models are exclusives as well, not sprints AFAIK.

For another Taichung sprint run, I'd love to see a "Hungarian Lightweight." Hungarian with full g10 scales and a wire clip!

A user by the name "hun" posted a thread about a Hungarian Lightweight that he made a few months back. In my opinion, it came out superb and would make for an excellent work knife.

I really like this idea. In hand, the original was a real surprise for me - a very comfortable user with a blade that undresses like the Caly 3.5. A thin and light Hungarian with a wire clip would see a lot more carry though.

Another vote for Sliverax.
jade/g10 and m4 sounds good.
What sounds better to me is CTS-204p. With the retirement of the Southard, can't let that steel go to waste.

I like the idea of Sliverax in M390/204p. I haven't handled M4, so I can't really weigh in. I like the idea of stainless for my fidget toy!

The rational side of me wants to suggest something that has already sold well in regular production. The steel junkie in me wants a hollow ground K390 GB 1, or a Spydiechef in SRS15.

Just a question - in general, certain steels stay at certain sites. Thinking of what Golden uses (cru-wear, maxamet, s110v), as well as what Seki City uses (vg-10, blue, hap-40). Is the same true for Taichung? I ask this since mule production was moved there with MT-18... which means almost any of the new steels are available??!!

Sliverax with maxamet or a11?

ABX2011 wrote:The all black TiCN PPT was a sprint run from Taichung. And apparently there's a second sprint run of the PPT with carbon fiber coming - see the casual bombshell thread.
I'd like to see a sprint of the Gayle Bradley 1 with coated M4 blade and red G-10.
If they ditched the heavy steel liners and back spacer on the PPT it would be perfect. Or make it a nested liner lock ;)

A BHQ M4 Sliverax is a great idea. Maybe the best, actually -- seems like the perfect platform for M4.

Someone mentioned M390 as well -- maybe those wonderful folks at DLT would look into a red G10 like the recent PM2? They were gracious enough to offer it at such a great price...

I've been on the fence with the Schempp Bowie for a while -- but an upgraded steel would make it that much more attractive. That could be pretty amazing with the right materials for the bolster and handle.
