Tighe Stick Question

#1

Post by jdw »

The Hundred Pacer thread started me thinking about unusual looking Spyderco models which led me to the Tighe Stick. I wonder who out there has one and would you recommend buying one? I am not a SD knife type guy but I do like unusual models and this thing looks like it should be carried by a Klingon.
Do right always. It will give you satisfaction in life.

I don't own it but have handled it a few times. It is MASSIVE. if you like that and the unusual look, then go for it. And if you're cutting things with it, it'll cut for quite some time considering the s90v blade steel :)

I handled one at Blade Show, and I didn't want to put it down. Beautiful knife with a wicked blade. It is big, but felt very solid and not too heavy. The grinds on the blade, and the handle, are incredible to look at. Plus, I'm a huge titanium and Chris Reeve Integral Lock fan. Definately more of a SD knife, but an incredible piece. I have yet to see a photograph that does it justice. Go for it! It's on my "Gotta Have" list.
