I see this selling out. How soon is a different question, but I'll go out on a limb and bet they move to the secondary market by the end of the year.

I just jumped on one too. Brown might not have been my first choice for scales but an s90v Yo2 run is awesome. Been wanting to see some sort of limited run Yo2 for a while now.

If you put it away it's a collector piece. You have a better chance of being struck by lightning than owning one of these knives.

They can always run this knife again because it's a dealer run. Some dealers have sold out of a product and done just that. No one can really predict what will happen. The 40th anniversary Damasteel native is more of a "collector" piece.

I bought one anyway. I'm a bit intrigued by the yojimbo. I usually don't purchase anything I won't use.

You'll use it Justin!! I use the one I have, and you'll be surprised how useful that blade shape is!
What a great cutter!! Fantastic action!! The blade is a bit heavier that the Para 2, and with the compression
lock it just flies open!!
When you hold the knife spine facing down and unlock the blade, it will drop and lock up if you can let go of the lock in time. It's a great fidget design. I love it and can't wait for the new one to get here!
I'm going to the PO at 9:00 so I can pick it up, rather than wait till the mail dude comes by at 6:00!
Yup!! No patience at all!!

I didn't even get a shipping notice yet. Luckily my CF yojimbo is keeping me company this week. We need some in the wild pics of this knife.

Got mine a short time ago. Sorry no means to take pics, but I can tell you it looks like its marketing photo anyway :)
Perfect out of the box. Centered, open and closing action is identical to my CF/S90V version, which is in my EDC rotation. DLC finish is very nice, scales are a great color (IMO) and right amount of texture.
We have a winner :)

I love it when the mailman is delivering to the houses across the street. He's so close but it'll be a while before he gets back around to me.

In the meantime I'm making a video about serrations if anyone is interested :D

I just put a little oil on it and the action is great. You can swing it open and closed by pinching the lock just like on the regular Yo2. :D

Very interesting is the blade is ground visibly thinner than previous versions. I compared it to all the Yo 2 blades I have and it's significantly thinner behind the edge/bevel. The other Yo 2 in the pics is NIB never cut anything or sharpened.

Now the question is, do I swap blades or not? I realized that DLC means I can't tweak the blade shape the way I have on my EDC Yo 2 which is a downer and kinda has me bummed out about this purchase. Time will tell.

I don't have mine with me at the moment but my latest Yojimbo (S30V) is ground very thin like your DLC blade. I wonder if this is just the new way they're doing it.

I'll take pictures of all three when I get mine. Hopefully today.
Most recently acquired: Military 2, Paramilitary 2 Tanto x2, YoJUMBO, Swayback, Siren, DLC Yojimbo 2, Native Chief, Shaman S90V, Para 3 LW, Ikuchi, UKPK, Smock, SUBVERT, Amalgam, Para 3 CTS-XHP, Kapara, Paramilitary 2 M390
Grail Paramilitary 2 M390 X 2! ACHIEVED!!

Mine just came and I like it! I am thinking about swapping out the brown scales for the black ones I took off my other Yojimbo when I put the red Putmans on. For the time being I'll live with the brown ones. :)

Got my shipping notice. Looks like this isn't the knife to drop though. That's a bright blue cloth.

Thanks for the pics guys.
