It's not like a Wharnie is the end all be all in EDC-knives.. I watched the video, kinda amused and asked myself exactly what he did that i can't do with any of my EDC knives :)

He really needed to throw a steak on that grill.... The cutting of an imaginary one was comical though .

You can't cut your fruit with a wharnie with your EDC knives.

But seriously, it's just another option and many people prefer that blade shape or just want something different.

I can do all that with a Manbug, but this blade shape excels in performance in a lot of work tasks. Glad you were amused, though. :) Wait, I have a good sense of humor, and would like your opinion of this one. Yes, I was being careful, by the way...

P.S. The "steak" was good. T-Bone, medium. ;)

Boy am i glad i bought the HAP-40 Manbug! Now i have a knife that can do ANYTHING!! :)
Cool vid!
On a serious note, i love my Centofante 4 .. and 3 and just about all my knives. Blade style isn't that important to me in my use.
Fair play to all fans of any particular style though!

Thanks, bro. I make vids that I'd like to watch, if that makes sense. The Manbug is a big little knife - very useful.

Count me in. Big fan of wharncliffe and sheepsfoot style blades. I always wished there was one of those options in the delica or similar size knife. Well, there's the Air. They're so easy to sharpen using whet/ water stones without much worry of taking out the blade shape due to my own errors. I get a sense of peacefulness and enjoyment using stones. Guess you can say its therapeutic.
Nice videos btw they both reminded me of, me. Just looking for an excuse to cut up something around the house. haha

Great videos Scroop & Jazz! I'm a fan of the wharncliffe shape too. I find a low or very low point (even if it's not quite as low as a wharncliffe) is nice for EDC. It makes cuts that start with a tip puncture (like opening a box or a package) especially easy. The straight edge makes great slices too. The very fact that you made the Manbug vid made me laugh! :p Thank you.

Nice videos Jazz, thanks! But I think you need to go a step further and give step by step tutorials on the sneaker-to-flipflop-diy conversion tactics shown! Summertime relevance is at an all time high!

Yes. It looks so nice, I don't want to scratch it up. I use it lightly, but it's sharper than a mother in law's tongue. The clip was light in tension for some reason, so I quickly fixed that. Very nice knife.

I got a Yojimbo 2 for Christmas and I have a new found understanding and respect for the purpose and functionality of the wharncliffe shape. I will own one of these Wharn-Delicas eventually, it's on the list.

I'll own one.
My work EDC is an old plain-edge Rescue. Also have a Centofante 4.
