If you could only carry one spyderco for the rest of your years what would it be?

I would choose the para military 2 or chaparral

Just for everyday Dailey taskes.

Probably a PM2 because it's such a great overall balance of traits.

Delica, definitely. The Caly3 would be my very close second choice.

Difficult choice, as I normally pair a Kiwi with either a Stretch or a CF Chaparral. If I pick the Stretch, then I have to go without a knife on those days I visit Greenville. If I pick the Chaparral or Kiwi, then I'm stuck with only a smaller knife all the time. Unless of course, I follow only the letter of this challenge and pair up the engraved sambar stag Kiwi in my avatar with a Combat Troodon most days and either a Troodon or UTX-70 when visiting beautiful downtown Greenville. :D

CF ZDP-189 Stretch

Even though I can carry about a 100 other knives it has been my main EDC for years and I doubt it will ever stop being my main EDC.

Gerard, the CF Stretch is a great knife, this is one I should have picked up a second when they were readily available. Because of work, the CF Caly 3.5 is my main edc. I guess if I could carry only one and there were no restrictions, it would be the Para 2 in CTS 204P.

Years ago being the firearms buff that I am, one of my favorite articles (favorite to this day actually) was an fictional article by Skeeter Skelton where he was writing about staying with an old retired lawman/rancher friend of his and the conversation turned to "if-you-could-only-have-one-gun" and the rest of the article was filled with stimulating conversation and rationalizations, FINALLY getting to the "one" gun he would carry of he "could only have one", for the rest of his life.

At first he said he could not get by with less than a DOZEN (!) (Sound familiar on this board???) :spyder:

At one point the old man had thought about it and thought about and cursed and swore he could NOT reduce his "list" to less than FOUR and SWORE that "nobody" would keep him from having at least those four! :D

That's kind of the way I am feeling about this one! :D

For me it's a Delica or Endura but I can't decide for sure...
