I’m waiting on my very first Spyderco, a Para 3 which is on its way from Ireland and going by the tracking is now in UK ! Hopefully will receive by Tuesday.

Was that for the CQI Advocste or old Advocate?
I'm assuming the older version (they didn’t specify ) but getting both for the cost of the discontinued /discounted Stepped Titanium chaparral is a no brainer. Once I get shipment I'll post on the Advocate !

After a brief conversation with myself I got in on that deal too. After I bought it I did two things. I tried to buys another bundle, sold out! And then, email BHQ regarding the advocate being cqi. I just got the response and I’ll include it here:

However we received our stock of the Advocate from Spyderco just this last September, so if the change is from before that, then you should be getting the newer version.

That is such a good deal. That is going to be a nice combo if you carry both.

Wow! I've been looking at the Advocate for some time , And like the Police 4, have had it in an online cart multiple times without purchasing. Once the Chaparral 2 and 3 went on closeout. ..I picked up the Stealth the first couple of days. The stepped was still a little much...even though I was mulling it over. I wasn't looking to get any specific knife during BF/CM (especially since I just bought both CS Para 3s) but once the Advocate /Chaparral bundle came up at that unbelievable cost...didn’t hesitate to push buy! If it's the new CQI version. ..just that much better. Thank you for the info!

52100 Manix 2 becuase I really wanted to try 52100 and was afraid the exclusive would sell out before I could get one. I wasn't wanting to buy another knife this year but I interest and consumerism got the best of me.
Was afraid I'd have to get a para 3 to tey the steel and I really don't like para 3's.
