I have a few Olight flashlights, keychain ones. A few i1R lights and several i3E lights, I tend to give those away as presents.

So far I have been very happy with my Olight flashlights.

Got this pretty cool little flashlight from Cabela's for $30. It was either this or the Streamlight Micro USB, but this one seems a little more useful with the swiveling head, and it has a magnetic base. Says it's 600 lumens in "turbo" mode, but I dunno if how accurate that is. Seems bright enough to me, lights up my buddy's yard pretty well--that's about 25 yards off where that line of rocks beyond the back of the car is. It's similar to another light I have that's much larger and doesn't have the cool features. Came in real handy changing a headlight on my car; I set the base up on the hood, and adjusted the swivel head until it lit up the headlight assemblies--could have just as easily done that in the day, but I wanted to test the light lol

I'm only a little disappointed because I was lead to believe that this was the 1000 lumen version. This one is aparrently only available in big box stores like Cabela's, Walmart, Bass Pro, etc. The nice thing about this one over the 1000 lumen version, in my opinion, is it uses a standard USB C charger rather than a magnetic charger. Plus it seems like it's a little skinnier, so it doesn't feel like it takes up as much pocket real estate. The 1000 lumen version is only $40 on Amazon though, so I might get one just to compare, keep one in the car, etc.

Convoy has largely (though not completely) ruined me for other brands. They are inexpensive but work well. They are available in many configurations with lots of different emitters and color temperatures. The guy who runs it is active on Budget Light Forums and is pretty good about satisfying niche demand.

A big deal for me is that lots of his models use mechanical switches with Biscotti. So you get the benefit of a mechanical switch but you can select from twelve different mode orders and turn mode memory on or off.

Some people worry because he is based in China and sells on AliExpress but it's all good. Of the 20+ Convoy lights I own, the driver went screwy on low mode for one. I contacted him and he sent me a replacement for free. He's also gone the extra mile for me a few times on stuff like installing an orange peel reflector on a model that normally comes smooth at no charge.

Looking back through my pics, here is one with a nice warm emitter.

Think I lost my Baton 3, so I bought this one a few weeks ago. Still feels a little off, and the case is bigger, but I like the charging capability. I feel like the turbo isnโ€™t quite as bright anymore.

Yeah I think it is a great toss it in your pocket and forget it flashlight. I have had it a month or so with moderate use and the case is still out 80%. I keep the case in my truck. Small size is nice in the pocket. However, for a work light in and out of the pocket, I would probably go a different direction.
