Any interest in Digi Camo Manix?

Interested or not?

I am since seeing a few photos of custom scales. Much like the P2 I feel Digi Camo would be a nice alternative to clip on the pocket.

Interested, especially in combination with DLC blade and black hardware. I've been wanting a Para 2 in this scheme for a while (they're often out of stock), but a Manix will also do.

A camo Manix translucent run would be sick. I am waiting for the black version right now but if they did a camo run with a blacked out blade and black hardware I would totally jump on board. As for the regular manix or XL not really interested. I have been seeing custom scales anyways with this coloration so it wouldn't effect my buying decision at all. Even if that blacked out the hardware and blade.

I'm interested, but only the XL model and DLC black blade.

Yes I would be interested. Black DLC & Camo Manix would look great. I love my Para 2 decked out in Camo

I am interested in any knife in Camo. I would liek to see the Military and Para 2
in Desert Sand Camo. Actually make that a Military 2.

And the Yojimbo XL in Camo with a black blade. Now thats a grail knife.

Why not? Camo and black look pretty good in my opinion.

Hey guys,
I had to throw these out there.
No black blade or hardware, but still pretty sweet.

Hope you guys like it and thanks for looking.

^ Really cool!

The smoothed handles look really nice, and I plan on smoothing out the proud jimped liners on the next Manix I get.

Not a fan on tactical colours. That manix looks nice though

100% for it. I feel that the manix design/purpose calls for it.

Ever since i saw the above picture a while ago, ive had the itch for one.

I would but I don't really like the translucence of the handles.

Hey guys,
Thanks, but I can't take any credit.
A former forum member did the mod, and after exchanging hands a couple of times, I ended up with the knife.
It does feel totally different in hand than my other two Manic 2's.
Thanks again.

Don

To be honest, the only Manix that would interest me at all would be a new midlock version with the grip area of the handle redesigned to be like either the Sage/Chaparral/Caly profile or the Stretch/Rescue/Mule Team profile. To me, that extra "finger divider" which the the handles of the Manix family and several other models share always seems more of a nuisance than an aid to hand positioning.

I hate to bring this thread back from the dead, but this would be an awesome variant of the Manix. I'm actually considering making my own digicam scales, and buying a Manix 2, but I'd rather just buy one with camo scales. :) I think we should try and make this happen!

Spyder's digital camo G10 just looks incredible. Usually I'm not interested in camo because it's poorly done, but that paramilitary, etc. just...wow. Perfectly executed.

I quite agree. Hands are not all of a size. Those bumps get in the way.
