DerRock's collection makes me wish I got interested in Spyderco in the 80s or 90s.
Just took an updated photo of the ones from Japan... and completely forgot to include the grey scaled Shabaria and Ayoob

kiddos folder collection
she also has a tojiro kids santoku in the kitchen and a mora 511 in her hiking pack. Got her off to a good start! she's managed to not cut herself yet, which is more than I can say. I sliced my thumb open on my first, a Victorinox Classic, when I was 4 or 5.

I got the Native, the PM2 and the 20cv Delica in the latest mystery box, so I really don’t have much experience with them. I am very satisfied with all of them, for the last years I was pretty hesitant to go for supersteels, because they always seemed impossible to sharpen, but I got confidence with using the sharpmaker and got myself the K390 Delica not too long ago. And that steel really surprised me by how stupidly easy it is to bring the edge back. I have limited experience with M390 from Lionsteel, but that stuff was just sooo soft… Spyderco‘s 20cv feels like a whole lot better.Paul Ardbeg wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 8:14 amGreat start You have a very nice selection of steels! I just got lucky with the latest mystery box lottery. The PM2, the Native and the 20cv Delica were all in my 250$ box!Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 8:40 amOne has to start somewhere . Looks like to are taking your time selecting and using , personally I think that is wise . MG2
But I am definitely not one, who is collecting for the sake of it, every knife should have a purpose.
