I just opened the box to receive a new Calypso Jr from a major retailer. It's in deplorable condition, with severe blade play and an off center blade. Should I send this back to the retailer or Spyderco? I had intended it as a gift, but I won't give anyone a knife in this shape.

Ok, ok... Maybe this sounded a lil too crass ... But let me explain, UPS shows up with this knife and a custom knife I had ordered months ago. BOTH knives were in unacceptable condition on receipt, so I guess my major disappointment showed too much in my post. Sorry for allowing my feelings to show so much, but some reply would have been nice, especially from a company so highly regarded for customer service. Oh well, I already made my decision and took action. Happy Holidays.
